We use a cross-mounting technique, applying the substrate across both sides of the spread before mounting the photographs. This reinforces each page at the spine for lifelong durability. This technique is entirely handcrafted and cannot be replicated by a binding machine. |

The Essex and Essex Plus pages are constructed similarly, with a single photo print spanning both sides of the spread. If included, we apply the substrate only along the center score beneath the photo. This machine-made technique is central to the production of these albums. |

Some companies may claim their “premium” albums are handcrafted. In reality, only the covers are handmade, with pages mounted and bound by machine. Every stage of production for our Premium Albums is crafted by hand. From mounting and binding to cover creation, each step is carefully overseen and assembled by one of our skilled album artisans. They guarantee the highest level of quality and attention to detail. |
Pages Made by Binding Machine:
The mounting and binding of our Standard Flush Mounts are fully automated. This allows the machine to create an entire page block in just minutes. Due to this automated process, the Essex and Essex Plus have page capacities of 60 and 35 spreads respectively. After binding, we allow pressing, staging, and curing time to maintain durability. While the internal assembly is machine-made, the covers are handcrafted with the same care as our Premium Albums. |
Single Page Replacement |

Since our Premium Albums are handcrafted, we can replace individual pages even after the album has been completed and delivered.Occasionally, clients request page replacements due to a design error or a specific preference. In contrast, machine-made albums don’t allow for such adjustments; if a change is needed, the entire album would have to be remade. |
Not Available:
Page replacements aren’t possible for Standard Flush Mount Albums. Our binding machine creates full-page blocks of at least 10 pages. This means the entire book must be remade if an error requires replacing just one page. |

Black Textured Box:
Our Standard Flush Mounts come packaged in a textured black cardboard box. Each album is placed in a gray microfiber pouch for added protection. An upgrade to the Black Stitched Box is also available for an additional charge. |

Limited:
Renaissance Albums offers a lifetime guarantee on every album. Our team covers all manufacturer defects. Additionally, our Standard Flush Mounts come with a one-year guarantee against warping, even though warping isn’t considered a manufacturer defect. This doesn’t mean the pages will warp after a year. If they remain stable for a year, they will likely stay that way long-term. Since the pages are made of paper, we cannot guarantee their resilience if stored in environments with fluctuating temperatures and humidity. These conditions may affect page integrity. |

Turnaround time is 3–4 weeks. Since we handcraft each Premium Album, we allow pressing, staging, and curing times at each production stage to guarantee lifelong quality and integrity. |

The turnaround time is 2 weeks. Like all our albums, the Essex and Essex Plus require rigorous pressing, staging, and curing to provide the highest, long-lasting quality. Since these albums are machine-made, the process is significantly faster to reduce their turnaround time. |
